Independent Living at Cameron Woods
Choosing the right path for a loved one is a journey. Cameron Woods strives to be a home for seniors in Steuben County, with all the warmth and neighborly experiences you and your loved ones expect from senior living.
When we work with families, we find that peace of mind is the greatest priority. Our approach to independent living frees residents, families and caregivers from the stress of navigating daily chores and allows you to spend more time cherishing your moments together.
Caring for Residents, Every Day
We offer an all-inclusive alternative to nursing homes, providing the safety families need without sacrificing independence or autonomy. Our community is built for seniors who are active and capable but are ready to live with more nearby help to navigate their day-to-day lives.
Unlike traditional nursing homes, which focus on clinical medical supervision around the clock, residents at Cameron Woods live in their own private spaces, with staff on duty 24/7. In case of an emergency, residents are equipped with an emergency pendant system that immediately alerts staff to any issues. Help is never more than a button-press away.
Cameron Woods is a great option for seniors who want or need help but still desire to live their lives independently.

Q: How does the wait list and application process work?
A: Our Wait List Program allows you to select your preferred apartment type. The wait list is based on the date of your application. If your preferred apartment is not available when you are ready to move, we will work with you to provide an alternative apartment until your first choice becomes available.
